 School’s Out For Summer

Ahhh Alice….let us both heave a sigh of releif. My life has just gotten less hectic, well not really. School’s out for summer, but now I’m ready to put everything I learned into editing my entire novel. I can already see how my writing has improved. The MFA program is definately taking me where I want to go as a writer. The editing phase of LaVella’s and Jeremy’s story is so exciting. I’ve made it through several chapters already and some days I just sit back and say wow.

Remember your dream and keep on writing!

    Thanks for sharing, Lara. Remember your dream and keep on writing is a heck of a mantra. I love it. In fact, since this incredible ride began for me just a couple of years ago, I have made it a point to share that part with everyone that I can, especially young people. Chase those dreams!
    School’s nearly out here, too. Soon, my 17 and 14 year old will have graduated from their respective schools, and my teacher wife will be off for the summer as well. Sadly, I will still be working. *weeps*
