Recording, Editing and Audio Podcasting

I’ve really found Audacity really easy to use for recording, editing, adding sound and exporting into Audio Podcast MP3’s. One thing I have noticed is that you cannot overload Audacity with to many sounds otherwise it will freeze up. Has anyone else come across this problem too? I have found away around it by creating new blocks of sounds with several sounds, saving that as one MP3 audio sound and then importing that MP3 into the main audio stream, instead of several imports. Also, how many writers and authors of audio podcasts use different voices or do you keep it pretty much around the same tone with some fluctuation to designate speaking?

If you haven’t added Zemanta in your personal settings in WordPress I recommend it. It is a time saver!
