Good luck in searching for an agent. I have just begun the process myself but am expecting a lot of rejection. High self-esteem but realistic. Agents seem to be a finite resource. Anyway, good luck! Are any of your books available?Tom

It is hard searching for an agent. Writing conferences are great to get a feel for who might be the best fit for you. Even in the few minute pitch you’ll get a vibe if they might be right. Books are available yet, hopefully soon. Have a few agents to send my work out to, but first I want the MS as polished as possible. Which means this year I’m splurging on an editor. Cross fingers.

    Hi Lara,
I’ve only recently started blogging and when I just stumbled across yours here I realized almost immediately how special it is. Good luck with your writing endeavors. I am sure you’ll do well, as you’ve already inspired me with your blog. I hope that I can eventually make mine just as professional, insightful, and evident of my aspirations to become a validated writer! Thanks for the so many posts that I will be sure to continue looking back through and using for my own writing.

I am emailing you on behalf of Nawras, the in-flight magazine of Air Arabia. We are published in Arabic, English and French, and are read by passengers from all over the world. We were wondering if you’d like to collaborate with us for our upcoming issue. We do travel stories, around Europe, Asia and Africa. Looking to do Mestia, Georgia and Kathmandu, Nepal this time. If you’re interested, I can send you more details about the story, the payment and the like, and take it forward from there. Do let me know. Thanks!
