Fort Casey Historical State Park is one of those places that I never tire of visiting. It has expansive views of Admiralty Inlet, batteries to explore and a lighthouse tower you can walk up. To really get a feel for its history I suggest spending the night at Fort Casey Inn and taking a free guided tour of the batteries. It will be a Whidbey Island getaway you won’t forget.
