With the Waggoner Cruising Guide 2012 deadline approaching my early mornings and evenings have been filled with phone calls and fact checking. It’s been a really good experience and reminds me that there is so much out there in the world that I want to explore. Above is a picture of Princess Louisa Inlet. It so reminds me of Alaska, so beautiful. Heave, sigh.
This morning I flipped to the last page and with that wrapped up I’m looking at my to do list that has been piling up. There are quite a few things that I would like to get done before I head to Bainbridge to spend Thanksgiving with family. So, with that in mind I’m taking the rest of the weekend to accomplish the things I need to do.
My blog and Fidalgo Island Writer Guild blog needs some attention. I need to write my #fridayflash for this past Wednesday’s Wayback picture and catch up on a couple of weeks worth of #fridayflash. Edit the last chapters of my WIP. Catch up on Twitter. Go over the recent MFA program emails. Organize my writing space. Go over Gingerbread House competition stuff with my team members. Make pie dough and pumpkin bread for Thanksgiving dinner. Pack. Needless to say I’ve got a few things (ouch 16) on my list. Plus, I have one more week to read Matched by Ally Condie – which I am really liking.
Lots to do! Wish me luck!
